Bow strings are used for the fletching skill to string unstrung bows which would turn then into bows that are operational. Bow strings are made by using flax on a spinning wheel while also having a crafting level of at least 10 granting 15 exp. The best place to spin flax into bow strings is at the spinning wheel located upstairs of a building located next to the church in Seers' Village.
