The death talisman is used to gain access to the death altar. At the altar, players can craft runes out of rune or pure essence by using the runecrafting skill. It requires level 65 runecrafting to make death runes at the altar. A death talisman can be turned into a death tiara by using the talisman on the altar while also having a tiara in your inventory.
Dropping Monsters[]
Players can obtain this talisman during the Mourning's End Part II quest. It is also possible to get them as monster drops from dark beasts.
