Herblore is a skill used to make potions. Potions are made by combining several ingredients using a pestle and mortar and a vial. These ingredients are usually a herb and a secondary item such as an eye of newt. These potions can have various effects like poisoning weapons or giving a boost of prayer points.

Herblore is often reguarded as one of the most expensive skills in the game and one of the most time consuming due to you having to find all of the ingredients or buy them from other players or stores throughout the world.

Herblore can be accessed after completing the Druidic Ritual quest which gives you level 3 Herblore when completed, or by cleaning unidentified herbs (Guams).
