The Dagannoth Rex is the Dagannoth King that uses melee who is found on Waterbirth Island and is normally targeted by mages as it has very high melee defence.
Dagannoth Rex is the only Dagannoth to drop the fabled Berserker and Warrior rings. He, along with his other Dagannoth brethren, can drop the famous Dragon axe.
Strategy[]
Dagannoth Rex is extremely weak to magic attacks. Whoever is killing him may want to use the eastern side, as he can be easily safespotted due to his large size. Rex can hit up to 28 quite often, and his attacks commonly hit around 20+ but rarely any higher.
There is a complete safespot on the northwestern top part of the arena where the Dagannoth Rex will be unable to get to you. However, this is advised for two-or more man teams.
There is another semi-safe spot on the eastern edge of the arena. Rex will be the only one attacking you, unless the other Kings are alerted to your presence.
