The Rune Platebody is a piece of runite equipment that is worn on the chest. To wear this platebody, a Defence level of at least 40 is required, as well as the completion of the Dragon Slayer quest. It is the best non-degradable platebody in the game, and the second best piece of non-degradable melee armour worn on the chest slot, surpassed only by the Dragon chainbody. It can be purchased from Oziach, found in Edgeville, for 65,000 coins after completing the Dragon Slayer quest or bought from another player. Players can create this item with a Smithing level of 99 and 5 Rune bars used on an anvil, while having a hammer in their inventory, granting 375 Smithing experience.

If you are a player with the required levels to wield this platebody but have not completed the quest requirement you can wear the cheaper Adamant platebody or Rune chainbody.
